First World Feminism
What's the point of this website?

A fair question. Two quick answers:

1. Those of us lucky enough to live in the most progressive parts of the world tend to focus on how good we have it, and yet we still haven’t achieved true gender equality.

2. I’m over trying to pitch women’s magazines. If the story isn’t about slimmer thighs for summer, they’re just not interested.

This stuff is important, I’ll try not to make it too dry.
The single best lesson I ever learned in my life was being in the advertising industry. When you identify what your personal brand stands for, what you believe in, what you value, what your personal philosophy of life is, that makes life so much easier. Life still throws you all the shit it always will, but you know how to exactly respond in any situation in a way that is true to you. That is what builds self-belief, self-empowerment, self-confidence. When you align that with the ability to help other people and to feel part of something bigger than yourself, that is the secret of human happiness.
